Aaron Dessner spent two decades as a founding member of the National before becoming one of the most sought-after collaborators in pop music, producing and co-writing across Taylor Swift's Folklore, Evermore, and The Tortured Poets Department -- Folklore won the Grammy for Album of the Year -- while also working with artists from Ed Sheeran to Sharon Van Etten. He co-founded three music festivals and formed the duo Big Red Machine with Bon Iver's Justin Vernon.
