Aaron Sorkin
American filmmaker
b. 1961age 65Living
Aaron Sorkin built a signature style — fast, overlapping dialogue delivered on the move, the "walk and talk" — across American television and film, from the multiple-Emmy-winning The West Wing to his Oscar-winning screenplay for The Social Network. He wrote A Few Good Men first as a Broadway play and then as a film, went on to script biopics including Moneyball and Steve Jobs, and moved into directing with Molly's Game, The Trial of the Chicago 7, and Being the Ricardos. His stage work continues alongside the screen career, including a 2023 Broadway revival of Camelot.
