Adam F. Goldberg created The Goldbergs, a sitcom built directly from his own 1980s childhood videotapes of his family, with Sean Giambrone playing a version of Goldberg himself and Patton Oswalt narrating as his adult voice. The show ran for over a decade on ABC. He went on to create additional sitcoms, including Breaking In and the Goldbergs spin-off Schooled.
