Adam Granduciel (born Granofsky) fronts the indie rock band the War on Drugs, which he formed after playing in Kurt Vile's backing band, recording five studio albums as its primary songwriter and guitarist. As a producer, he's worked with Sam Fender, Craig Finn, and Purling Hiss; his co-production of Fender's 2025 single "Rein Me In" became the longest-running number-one single in UK chart history.
