A cartoonist who spent 65 years contributing to Mad magazine and invented its signature back-page trick, the Fold-In, which turned a single illustration into a second hidden image when folded. His run, from 1942 to 2020, earned him the Guinness World Record for the longest career of any comic artist, and in 2008 he was named Cartoonist of the Year by the National Cartoonists Society.
