Al Shean

Al Shean, born Abraham Schönberg in Germany, became one of vaudeville's most successful double acts as half of Gallagher and Shean, whose catchphrase-driven routines were popular enough to be parodied for decades after. He was also the uncle of Groucho, Harpo, Chico, Gummo and Zeppo Marx, and pushed them toward performing when they were still finding their footing.
