Bart Freundlich

Broke through at Sundance with his 1997 debut feature The Myth of Fingerprints, launching a directing career that has since ranged from the family adventure Catch That Kid to the drama After the Wedding, alongside television work on Californication and Mozart in the Jungle. He met actress Julianne Moore on that first film's set in 1996; the two married in 2003, and she has appeared in most of his features since.
