Brandon Flynn built his career on Justin Foley, the role he played across all four seasons of Netflix's 13 Reasons Why (2017–2020), a series that put teen trauma and suicide on screen in ways American television had mostly avoided. He has since worked steadily in prestige television and film, appearing in Ratched, True Detective and the 2024 miniseries Manhunt, and taking on genre roles including a 2022 remake of Hellraiser.
