Brent Spiner spent seven seasons and four films playing Data, the android whose earnest attempt to understand humanity became one of Star Trek: The Next Generation's most enduring characters, a role he returned to decades later in Star Trek: Picard. He won a Saturn Award for reprising Data in First Contact, and has built a parallel career on stage and as a musician alongside his screen work.
