Buz Kohan

A television writer, producer, and composer who moved to Los Angeles in 1967 to write for The Carol Burnett Show and went on to produce specials for Bing Crosby, Perry Como, Gene Kelly, and Shirley MacLaine. His Emmy wins span both original music and comedy-variety writing across the 1970s, 80s, and 90s. He and two of his children, David and Jenji Kohan, are all Emmy winners — one of only a handful of families with that distinction across generations.
