Dan Spitz

Played lead guitarist for the thrash metal band Anthrax during its late-1980s commercial peak, helping define the genre's sound before leaving the band in the 1990s. He later earned Swiss and American credentials in mechanical watchmaking, becoming a certified watchmaker instructor for Chopard's North American operations — an unusually complete second career for a working metal musician.
