Dave Rubin built The Rubin Report from a show on the progressive Young Turks network into an independent platform, shifting his own politics along the way from progressive to, by his own description, classical liberal and later conservative -- an evolution he has attributed partly to reactions he observed to the Charlie Hebdo shooting. He earlier co-hosted LGBTQ-focused talk shows including The Ben and Dave Show and The Six Pack.
