Emma Barnett built a broadcasting career on asking the question everyone else was tiptoeing around, moving from print journalism at the Telegraph and Sunday Times into radio and television. She presented BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour from 2021 to 2024 before joining the flagship Today programme, having also anchored Newsnight and BBC One's Sunday Morning Live along the way.
