Etan Cohen

Cohen co-wrote Idiocracy, a 2006 comedy about a dumbed-down future America that flopped in theaters and then, over the following decade, became a widely cited cultural reference point for critics describing the real thing. He went on to write Tropic Thunder, Men in Black 3, and the animated Bad Guys films, building a career translating sharp, sometimes cynical premises into studio comedies without losing their edge.
