Ethan Coen spent nearly four decades writing, directing and editing films with his brother Joel — Blood Simple, Raising Arizona, Fargo, The Big Lebowski, No Country for Old Men — winning four Academy Awards from thirteen nominations as a pair, plus a Palme d'Or for Barton Fink. In the 2020s the brothers began directing separately; Ethan's first solo feature, Drive-Away Dolls, was co-written with his wife Tricia Cooke, followed by Honey Don't!, which premiered at Cannes in 2025.
