Gloria Katz

A screenwriter working in partnership with her husband Willard Huyck, Katz co-wrote American Graffiti and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and worked uncredited as a script doctor on the original Star Wars, helping shape its humor and the development of Princess Leia as a character. Their partnership also produced Howard the Duck, an unusual credit in an otherwise mainstream body of work.
