Harry Woolf, Baron Woolf

A British judge who rose to be Master of the Rolls in 1996 and Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales in 2000. When the Constitutional Reform Act 2005 restructured the judiciary, he became the first Lord Chief Justice to also serve as President of the Courts of England and Wales. He later sat as a non-permanent judge on Hong Kong's Court of Final Appeal from 2003 to 2012, and continues in the Lords as a crossbencher.
