Henry Kuttner
American author
1915 – 1958aged 42
A prolific pulp writer of science fiction and horror, Kuttner published extensively under pseudonyms — most notably Lewis Padgett, under which he and his wife C. L. Moore wrote the Gallegher stories and Mimsy Were the Borogoves, later filmed as The Last Mimzy. Their collaboration was so seamless that neither could later say who had written which passage; Ray Bradbury called him "a neglected master," a reputation the pseudonyms themselves helped obscure.
