Irena Szewińska

Irena Szewińska is the only athlete, man or woman, to have held the world record in the 100, 200 and 400 meters, a range no other sprinter has matched. Competing for Poland across five Olympic Games, she won seven Olympic medals including three golds, was named Polish Sports Personality of the Year four times, and received her country's highest honor, the Order of the White Eagle, in 2016.
