Jane Goldman became one of the most in-demand blockbuster screenwriters of her generation through a long partnership with director Matthew Vaughn, co-writing Kick-Ass, X-Men: First Class, and the Kingsman films, and worked solo on The Woman in Black and Tim Burton's Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. She began her career as a journalist and paranormal investigator, hosting her own non-fiction series, Jane Goldman Investigates, before moving into film.
