Jason Gould appeared alongside his mother, Barbra Streisand, in The Prince of Tides (1991), which she directed, and made his West End stage debut in The Twilight of the Golds in 1997. He later wrote and directed the short film Inside Out, about the child of two celebrities outed by tabloids, drawing on his own experience of being publicly outed as gay in 1991, and has since built a career as a singer-songwriter, releasing the album Dangerous Man and performing alongside his mother on tour.
