Jay Kogen

Jay Kogen helped shape the comic voice of early Frasier and The Simpsons, writing and producing for both — his Frasier episode "Merry Christmas, Mrs. Moskowitz" won an Emmy and a Writers Guild Award in 1999. His screenwriting credits extend into animation and family comedy, including rewrites on Shrek, Madagascar, and the Oscar-nominated Kubo and the Two Strings, work that runs in the family: his father, Arnie Kogen, was also a comedy writer.
