An actress who built a career on unglamorous, exacting performances — Last Exit to Brooklyn, Single White Female, her Dorothy Parker in Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle — long before The Hateful Eight brought her an Oscar nomination as the fugitive Daisy Domergue. She has also worked behind the camera, co-writing and co-directing The Anniversary Party with Alan Cumming, and lent her voice to Charlie Kaufman's Anomalisa to wide critical acclaim.
