Jerry Adler

An actor and Broadway stage manager and producer who didn't turn to acting full-time until his sixties, then spent three decades as a familiar presence on prestige television — Hesh Rabkin, the Mafia's closest thing to a conscience, on The Sopranos, and later regular roles on The Good Wife, Transparent, and Broad City. He worked until shortly before his death at 96.
