Jerry Livingston

Co-wrote "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo" for Disney's Cinderella (1950) with Mack David and Al Hoffman, giving the studio one of its most recognizable songs, and followed it with "The Unbirthday Song" for Alice in Wonderland the next year. Outside Disney he wrote the novelty hit "Mairzy Doats" and the standard "The Twelfth of Never," and earned three Academy Award nominations with longtime collaborator Mack David across a songwriting career that ran from 1930s dance bands through 1960s television themes.
