Jerry Seinfeld built his career on the discipline of observational stand-up, then turned that sensibility into Seinfeld, the sitcom he co-created and wrote with Larry David and starred in as a fictionalized version of himself from 1989 to 1998 — now regarded as one of the most influential comedies in television history. He has released four stand-up specials since 1987, created and hosted the web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, and co-wrote and starred in the animated film Bee Movie. He continues to perform stand-up regularly.
