Born John Biener, an actor, comedian and impressionist whose television career spanned decades of variety and sketch work built on precise vocal mimicry. His best-known voice work came in the cartoon series The Ant and the Aardvark, where he voiced both title characters through dueling impressions of Dean Martin and Jackie Mason, a running joke that depended entirely on his ear for celebrity voices.
