Jon Robin Baitz

Wrote plays that put privileged American families under pressure, mixing sharp political argument with family wounds that don't resolve tidily — work that made him a two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist. Also worked as a screenwriter and television producer, and held fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
