Kate Siegel has become one of horror's most consistent screen presences through her collaborations with director Mike Flanagan, starring in and co-writing Hush and appearing across The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, and The Fall of the House of Usher. Writing as well as acting in Hush, about a deaf woman defending her home from a masked killer, gave her a hand in shaping the genre she's known for, not just performing in it.
