Kenneth Tigar

An actor and translator with a Harvard PhD in German literature, who parlayed that background into a screen career built on European and villain roles — a bomb squad leader in Lethal Weapon 2 and 3, and, most memorably, Heinrich Himmler across thirteen episodes of The Man in the High Castle. He worked steadily on stage and television for decades, including a starring run as Captain Jensen in L.A. Heat, while continuing to translate German literature professionally.
