Krista Vernoff
American television producer, television and film writer
b. c. 1972Living
A television showrunner who ran Grey's Anatomy through two separate stretches and its spin-off Station 19, earning three Primetime Emmy nominations along the way, including one for her own script "Into You Like a Train," later hailed by critics as the series' best single episode. Shonda Rhimes brought her back to Grey's in 2017 with full creative control after Vernoff had already signed on to leave for Netflix, a rare vote of confidence in a returning writer.
