Leonard Rosenman

A film composer with over 130 credits, including East of Eden and Rebel Without a Cause — both starring James Dean — as well as Barry Lyndon and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. His scores ranged from the emotionally raw naturalism of 1950s dramas to the sweep of science fiction and historical epics, spanning decades of Hollywood's changing musical style.
