Played Phoebe Buffay on Friends for its full ten-season run, winning a Primetime Emmy for a role that started as a guest turn on Mad About You, playing Phoebe's twin sister Ursula, before the character was folded into the new show. She has built a parallel career playing variations on show-business anxiety, most pointedly as an actress clawing for relevance in the mockumentary series The Comeback. Her film work includes Romy and Michele's High School Reunion, Analyze This, and Booksmart, and she produced the genealogy series Who Do You Think You Are?
