Matisyahu built a career fusing Orthodox Jewish spirituality with reggae, rock, and hip-hop beatboxing, and his 2005 single 'King Without a Crown' became a Top 40 hit -- an unlikely crossover for an artist whose sound and subject matter had no real precedent in American pop radio. He has released seven studio albums since, working with producers including Bill Laswell and the reggae duo Sly and Robbie.
