Max Burkholder spent Parenthood's entire six-season run playing Max Braverman, a character with Asperger's syndrome whose portrayal was widely credited for bringing a nuanced depiction of autism to network television. He began his career as a child voice actor on The Land Before Time and My Friends Tigger & Pooh, and later returned to the Ted franchise in its television sequel.
