Melanie Shatner

Melanie Shatner built a modest screen career in the 1980s and 90s, most notably as Rebecca Morgan across the direct-to-video Subspecies vampire film series, alongside television appearances on Knots Landing and TekWar. Decades later, she and her father, actor William Shatner, were diagnosed with stage IV cancers at the same time; both went into remission by 2024 after immunotherapy.
