A voice actor whose work is more recognized than his face: he built a decades-long career across The Transformers, G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, Rugrats, The Smurfs and Snorks, shaping the sound of children's animation from the 1980s onward. He also lent his voice to video games including Legacy of Kain and appeared on screen in Dallas and Star Trek. Few actors have populated as many Saturday-morning cartoons while staying this anonymous to the audience.
