Moe Howard

American comedian and actor

1897 – 1975aged 77

Moe Howard led the Three Stooges for four decades, serving as both the group's straight man and, off-screen, its de facto business manager, steering the act from vaudeville through shorts, features, and television as it outlasted nearly every other slapstick act of its era. His bowl-cut hairstyle, which he gave himself as a boy by cutting off his own curls, became one of the most recognizable haircuts in American comedy.
