Natasha Shneider, born Natalia Schneiderman in Soviet Latvia, became keyboardist and vocalist for the band Eleven alongside her partner Alain Johannes, and the pair's musicianship carried them onto stages well beyond their own group — touring with Chris Cornell on his Euphoria Morning tour and with Queens of the Stone Age, whose records Shneider also contributed to. She died of cancer in 2008.
