Author of The Sandman, American Gods, Coraline, and Good Omens, whose fiction moves comfortably between comics, novels, and children's books — he's the only writer to win both the Newbery and Carnegie medals for the same book, The Graveyard Book. Beginning in 2024, multiple women came forward with sexual assault accusations against him, including a lawsuit alleging rape and human trafficking; the allegations halted or affected several in-development adaptations of his work. Gaiman has denied the accusations.
