A comedian who built a body of work almost entirely from characters of his own invention — Kroll Show and the sprawling ensemble of The League gave way to Big Mouth, the animated Netflix series he co-created about the horrors of puberty, which he also voices in multiple roles. He has moved steadily between writing, producing and performing across television and film, from Sausage Party to The Bob's Burgers Movie, without settling into a single lane.
