Robert Lansing
American actor
1928 – 1994aged 66
Robert Lansing spent five decades in American television and film, amassing 245 episodes across 73 series alongside television movies and features — a career built on range rather than a single signature role. He's best remembered as the hard-edged Brigadier General Frank Savage in 12 O'Clock High (1964), but his range also took him through the 87th Precinct police drama, a memorable Star Trek turn in "Assignment: Earth," and later series work on Automan and The Equalizer.
