Ruby Wax

Ruby Wax trained with the Royal Shakespeare Company before reinventing herself as a comic television interviewer, needling celebrities on shows like Ruby Wax Meets... in a persona built around exaggerated American brashness for British audiences. She later earned a master's degree in mindfulness-based cognitive therapy from Oxford and became one of Britain's most visible mental health campaigners, writing the bestsellers How Do You Want Me? and Sane New World; she was appointed OBE in 2015 for that work.
