Scott Spiegel

Scott Spiegel co-wrote Evil Dead II with his high school friend Sam Raimi, sharpening the first film's horror into the manic slapstick that defined the sequel's tone. He got his start acting in Raimi's earlier short Within the Woods, the direct precursor to The Evil Dead, before moving behind the camera as a director, producer and screenwriter.
