Stephen Macht built a five-decade acting career that included playing Israeli commando Yonatan Netanyahu in Raid on Entebbe and a recurring role opposite his real-life son Gabriel Macht on Suits, all while pursuing a parallel academic life: a doctorate in dramatic literature and a professorship at Queens College, followed later by a master's degree in Jewish studies and ordination as a rabbi in 2013.
