Transformed the Las Vegas Strip from a mob-era gambling town into a luxury resort destination, building the Golden Nugget, The Mirage, Treasure Island, and the Bellagio before founding Wynn Resorts and opening Wynn Las Vegas in 2005. He resigned as the company's CEO and chairman in 2018, and as Republican National Committee finance chair, after sexual misconduct allegations from employees, which he has denied.
