An American-Italian film actress who, after an unsuccessful audition for Candy, made her debut in the 1969 spy comedy Some Girls Do and went on to build almost her entire career in Europe, working with directors including Roman Polanski, on What? (1972) and again on The Palace fifty years later, and Claude Chabrol. She also became a fitness icon in the early 1980s through workout videos and an accompanying album.
