Played a schoolteacher who accidentally becomes president of Ukraine on television, then became president of Ukraine. When Russia invaded in February 2022 and Western capitals offered to evacuate him, he stayed in Kyiv and filmed himself on the street to prove it, which did more to hold the country together than any weapon delivered that month. His grandfather fought in the Red Army while three of that grandfather's brothers and their parents were murdered in the Holocaust.
