An actor instantly recognizable from a single line in The Princess Bride, "Inconceivable!", who built a much stranger and more serious body of work alongside the comic one. With Andre Gregory he wrote and starred in My Dinner with Andre (1981), a two-hour conversation that became an unlikely arthouse landmark, and he won an Obie Award for his play Aunt Dan and Lemon (1985). He has also worked steadily as a voice actor, most enduringly as Rex in the Toy Story films.
