Dorian on Scrubs, earning an Emmy nomination and three Golden Globe nods, but his more distinctive achievement came behind the camera: he wrote, directed, starred in, and curated the soundtrack for Garden State (2004), a $2.5 million film that grossed over $35 million and won him a Grammy for Best Soundtrack Album.
